The Houghton College men's and women's cross country teams opened up their seasons at home at the Highlander Short Course Invitational. Both teams finished second, losing to Roberts Wesleyan but edging conference rival Alfred University.
Now entering his third season leading the Highlanders Cross Country teams, Coach Patrick Hager reflected on his team's 2015 season, his thoughts on this year's team and their goals and expectations for the season to come.
